Kingdoms of Kandalar
Ifayo (If-a-yo) is a large and beautiful city, with white walled two, three or even four storey residential buildings. The public buildings are built with rose marble and decorated bronze statues of lions, the copper clad domes of the temples turned green, and the palatial villas of the wealthy amongst the palm trees are all reflected in the cool waters of the lake giving the appearance of tow cities, this effect make this truly a sight to behold and often steals the heart of the beholder.
Ifayo is built upon the seven islands of Lake Nubombo. Each of the islands has differing uses such as the largest island being residential where as the smaller islands are used by the wealthy for grand palaces or by the temples for shrines to the gods. With island being linked by well built bridges to at least one other and small water channels being used Ifayo has no real roads with boats being the favoured means of travel for the wealthy.
